We are not currently accepting proposals for seed funding.
Currently, we are not offering faculty seed funding. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Our newsletter will inform you when we will once again be accepting proposals. To prepare for when seed funding is once again available, please read below. Thank you for your interest in the European Union Center of California's programs.
In awarding these funds, preference will be given to proposals possessing the following characteristics:
- Research projects with direct relevance to the current situation of the European Union, including its member states;
- Joint student-faculty proposals;
- Proposals from junior faculty; and
- Proposals demonstrating outside funding that will complement financial support received from the Center.
Recipients will be required to submit a written report on the activities funded by the grant indicating research progress. Recipients may be asked to present their work-in-progress as an EU Center lunchtime talk or in some other forum.
