The theme of the 2007 conference was "50 Years of European Integration: Lessons, Challenges and Opportunities for the Future."
The conference included a keynote address by Hannele Tikkanen, member of the Delegation of the European Commission to the United States, entitled "The European Union, 50 Years of Peace, Prosperity and Partnership."
