EU Studies Summer Program in Brussels
At the Institute for European Studies, Universite Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)
This summer program at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) is designed for undergraduate students interested in the politics and policies of the European Union. The program affords students an excellent opportunity to study European integration with leading academic experts from both sides of the Atlantic and gain an undertanding of the "real world" of EU institutions through discussions with policymakers and site visits in Brussels. The program also features a two-day excursion to Luxembourg, where students gain exposure to other major European institutions. Program support from the European Commission helps make this an affordable summer study option and an ideal way for students to make connections with European officials and experience European integration up close. (All applicants for this program are automatically considered for program grants.) Applications are due to the EU Center of Excellence of Seattle by March 12, 2010.
The EU Studies Summer Program in Brussels is supervised by an Academic Committee composed of Eric Remacle (ULB), Steve Pfaff (University of Washington), Jeremy Suri (University of Wisconsin) and Peter Hobbing (EU Commission, retired).
