If you are flying into Southern California, we recommend you use the Ontario International Airport (ONT) which is only a 15 minutes-east drive to Scripps campus or the Doubletree Hotel Claremont. The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Bobe Hope Airport in Burbank (BUR) are other alternatives.; although each are approximately an hour’s drive from campus without traffic. Please note that Los Angeles is notorious for its bad traffic. A trip to/from LAX and Claremont during rush hour can take two hours or more.

Scripps College has an online discount code for SuperShuttle airport shuttling company. The shuttle cost with the discount and tip is approximately $22 (for 1 person – incrementing $9 for each additional person) from ONT to Claremont; $55 from LAX to Claremont.
